Tsoako said music was an expression of experiences throughout his life. “I’m constantly reinventing myself and working on other people’s music apart from XMPL.

“I’m currently working on my extended play [EP]. I’m working with artists Uno July, Melo b and a couple of up and coming artists,” he said.

Mpehle added that the world of visuals and music had always been as one for them. He studied fine arts at the National School of Arts and later animation. “We are not limited to one genre we are versatile,” he said.
