The Sophiatown Police Station are searching high and low for a missing resident in their policing area.
Jane Ford, a Claremont resident, has been missing for about a month and was last seen in the Claremont and Newclare area. Information about the woman’s disappearance is limited.

Warrant Officer TJ de Bruyn, spokesperson for the Sophiatown Police Station, said rumours have emerged that she was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, however, none of the clues indicate this.

“We can’t just arrest people when there are no grounds to arrest them,” De Bruyn said.

De Bruyn is urging anyone with any information about her whereabouts or the circumstances of her disappearance to contact the Sophiatown Police Station on 011 670 6300.
