Honeydew police are looking for two suspects after a house robbery in the suburb on Monday, 23 October.
The incident occurred in Polo Street in Weltevreden Park while the domestic worker was alone at home doing the washing.
Police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said two men entered the premises by cutting the motor gate’s lock with a lock cutter.
“The suspects walked into the house and tied up the domestic worker. They then ransacked the house and took two cellphones, three television sets, PlayStation, Xbox console, meat, wood and liquor,” said Muthan.
“The robbers made their getaway in a white Nissan 1400 bakkie.”
Bulan added that the suspects spoke IsiZulu and wore gloves. They did not hurt the domestic worker.
